Last night in the Hall of Fame game between the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons, fans got a glimpse at how the future of pass interference calls could look – and it’s messy. Broncos coach Vic Fangio threw his challenge flag over a call in the second quarter and it was upheld by the officials. To no surprise, fans quickly took to Twitter to express their annoyance after an additional stoppage in play. Because that’s just what the NFL needs – more time wasted.

We’re not here to throw shade, but we’re feeling pretty good about our dedication to making sure our fans get the most action possible in our sixty minute games. Who wants to watch two teams play for up to four hours when they can watch all eight teams in the same amount of time? This shift also makes it infinitely easier for our fans to check up on the competition and prepare to call the right plays. But the first snap of our inaugural season, we will join you in groaning over the increased number of calls made this NFL season.
