NFL Free Agency is in full swing and it feels like every time you turn around, there’s a new roster move. Really. In the time it took us to post this blog and share it on social media, there will likely be another ESPN alert about someone signing a new contract or pulling an Anthony Barr and changing their mind about going to a new team.
For New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas, its the latter when it comes to teammate Mark Ingram. Ingram, who had 645 yards for 6 touchdowns last season, is reportedly close to a deal with the Baltimore Ravens after the Saints signed Latavius Murray this week. While the first FCFL season has not begun, we imagine that we’ll be seeing guys take the Thomas approach when it comes to trying to keep their teammates around in the post-season. More than that, we’re sure we’ll be seeing some of you fans out there tweeting, asking your favorite player to stick around if the option is on the table.
