FAN Take is a series that highlights trending events, issues, and decisions in the world of sports and analyzes how they may or may not factor into the Fan Controlled Football League. We would love to hear your feedback, so let us know what you think about each FAN Take!
Powder blue is IN! The Los Angeles Chargers are switching up their primary jersey ahead of the 2019 NFL season, and the team will be hitting the field in their finest powder blue jerseys. The powder blue has been an occasional alternate uniform for the last few years, but the Chargers have been primarily wearing navy since 1974. While plenty of people were thrilled to see the team return to that classic look from the 60s, some of the loyal fans from San Diego felt it was a slap to the face. They had waited for that decision to be made for years, only for the team to move to Los Angeles in 2017.
What do you think of the look fans? Do you think the Chargers should revert back to their crisp navy and white uniform? Do you want to see them do color rush as often as possible? Do you think any other teams need to make an adjustment to their look? Or do any of the teams need a complete overhaul? And why are we doing a FAN Take on NFL uniforms? Well fans, we are SO close to announcing your remaining Team Owners | Fan Captains, and we really think you’re going to love them. Once they have been formally announced, we will move from team name submissions to team name voting, and then it’s only a matter of time before we get to uniforms and logos. We want you to start thinking about these things now, because after all, this is YOUR team! Make the most of it!
Power To The Fans!
