FAN Take is a series that highlights trending events, issues, and decisions in the world of sports and analyzes how they may or may not factor into the Fan Controlled Football League. We would love to hear your feedback, so let us know what you think about each FAN Take!

The king of Taco Tuesday, LeBron James, is not too happy with the NCAA’s newest criteria for agents. In a memo obtained by ESPN, the NCAA outlined new criteria for agents: a bachelor’s degree, NBPA certification for at least three consecutive years, professional liability insurance and completion of an in-person exam taken at the NCAA office in Indianapolis in early November. The addition of the bachelor’s degree definitely seems like its targeted at Rich Paul, who represents James along with Anthony Davis, Ben Simmons and Draymond Green, and does not have a degree. Not one to shy away from voicing his opinion, James took to Twitter to talk about what can only be referred to at the “Rich Paul Rule.”

Where do the fans stand on this? Better yet, do the fans feel that anyone hired as a coach in our league should be required to have a bachelor’s degree? We don’t expect all of our fans to have degrees, and they’re the ones who are calling the plays! But what about Offensive and Defensive Coordinators? Will a degree impact their ability to run practice each week or manage personnel on the sidelines? And what about the players themselves? Should they be required to have a bachelor’s degree? Is an associate’s degree sufficient? Whatever your opinion, sound off!

Power To The Fans!
